I was recently asked the question above by one of my newer clients.  I immediately stopped what I was doing and had two thoughts.  My first internal reaction and thought was, “YES!”  That’s exactly what I want my clients to feel from me every time they come into the office, no matter if they are my first client or the very last client of the day.  I want them to feel I am partnering with them every step of the way on their journey back to HEALTH!

Trauma…

Bryan WMy second thought was of my personal Chiropractic Story that I have told over and over again.  My own personal trauma, struggle, and the journey back to Health that changed my life forever.

This picture is the only one I have of my first car accident, and it is blown up extra-big in size.  It is the first thing I see when I enter the exam/adjustatorium suite at The Specific Chiropractic Center.  It is a constant reminder to me personally of the trauma and pain I went through and overcame.  But most importantly, it reminds me of WHY I want to continue to help others regain HEALTH!

I was involved in two major car accidents when I was younger.  Both accidents were front-end collisions.  In the first accident, I was fully aware that I was about to crash (and by the way, it was completely my fault.)  The second accident felt like I hit an invisible concrete wall!  In the second accident, the other vehicle was cutting through traffic, and when he approached my lane, we collided.  The biggest difference between the two was that I was completely caught by surprise with the second accident.  Subsequently, I had severe neck and low-back whiplash trauma.  I also had to have two root canals on my front teeth, because my face bashed the steering wheel, and eventually I started having daily migraine headaches.  All that pain and suffering led me to find a Chiropractor, a decision that ultimately saved my LIFE!  Once my headaches and other injuries cleared up, I knew what I was meant to do!

Here’s the deal…

I know there are a lot of people just like me that have had the same type of trauma in their lives, and they are looking for a SOLUTION!  Maybe your situation was worse, or maybe in your mind it was only a minor fender bender. Maybe it wasn’t a car accident at all.  What I need for you to understand is that when you go to the hospital after such traumas, they are looking for immediate life-threatening injuries.  If you don’t have those types of injuries, they send you on your way with a prescription for pain medication and tell you that you will be sore for the next couple of days but it will improve.

But…

Just maybe the trauma you had recently or in the past is now the cause of your current health status.  Please remember there are many caring doctors working hard to find a solution for you – especially the doctors of The Specific Chiropractic Centers.
