The Specific Chiropractic Center – Kale Chiropractic Research Clinic

The Specific Chiropractic Center is proud to announce their partnership with the longest standing Knee Chest Upper Cervical Specific chiropractic organization in the world, the Kale Clinics of Chiropractic.

The new alliance will begin with the collaboration of the Kale Chiropractic Research Clinic to function through The Specific Chiropractic Center systems.  The newest addition to the brand will continue the Kale traditions at 107 W. 5th North Street in Summerville, South Carolina.

This new relationship brings the legacy of Dr. Michael Kale through his son, Dr. BJ Kale to The Specific Chiropractic Center.  Dr. Michael Kale was responsible for the perpetuation of the Knee Chest Upper Cervical Specific work during a vital time in the history of Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic.  Dr. Michael Kale was the only Associate of Dr. Lyle Sherman, who was the Assistant Director of the BJ Palmer Research Center, prior to launching his career as a noted healer and disciplined teacher.  His legacy extends throughout the world, having trained almost every noted authority in the Knee Chest Upper Cervical Specific world and having provided care to citizens of numerous countries around the world.

Today, the tradition of the Kale name is carried forth by his son, Dr. BJ Kale, who continues to teach around the world and uphold the values instilled in him by his father through The Kale Chiropractic Research Clinic, The Kale Foundation and the Kale teachings at the TIC Institute, an in depth training program for doctors and students who desire to learn the methods of his father, and the principled deliverance of the Knee Chest work through the BJ Palmer Research under the direction of Dr. Sherman and Dr. BJ Palmer.  The Kale Chiropractic Research Clinic and Kale Foundation will continue to provide care to people around the globe.

All of us at The Specific Chiropractic Center are very excited to begin work with all of the members at the Kale organization worldwide.  This new partnership will not only allow us to provide more care to more people around the world, but will also allow us to provide a higher level of care steeped in the traditions of Dr. BJ Palmer, Dr. Lyle Sherman and Dr. Michael Kale.

Beyond the patient care applications, new opportunities in equipment will also be available to our doctors and patients.  The Kale organization has been known for its high quality equipment, which includes chiropractic knee chest tables, Neurocalometers, Chirometer’s and its signature K4 Thermoscribe.

Dr. Shawn Dill, Director of The Specific Chiropractic Center, says, “This is one of the greatest accomplishments for The Specific Chiropractic Center since its inception.  This new relationship will allow for our doctors to provide better care to our patients and help more sick people find hope for their problems.  I am excited to partner with Dr. B.J. Kale and the entire Kale organization.  We will continue to uphold all of the values and traditions of Dr. Michael Kale in all of our new clinics to open under this new alliance.”

The Kale Chiropractic Research Center is under the clinical direction of Dr. Tron Malachowski.  Dr. Tron is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and the Kale TIC Institute for postgraduate studies in Upper Cervical Specific chiropractic.  There Dr. Tron studied directly under Dr. BJ Kale, the son and legacy of Dr. Michael Kale.

In order to better serve his community, Dr. Tron unveiled his signature Healthy Living – God’s Way program. Through this effort, he has helped the state of South Carolina lose a combined weight of over 600 lbs, as well as benefit from improved lab work, decreased blood pressure, and decreased depression.  As such, Dr. Tron has been awarded the prestigious Kale Network Visionary and Esteemed Kale Excellence Awards.  Currently Dr. Tron is working on a research study on Parkinson’s disease, which is projected to gain international publication.

Dr. Tron is currently accepting new patients and can be reached at 1-888-722-4467.

I am turned off when I see that a program is “God’s” anything. I am not Judeo-Christian and I do not believe in a theistic religion. If you want to include me, you have to be more general. I am also not a fundamentalist. So, I am initially not aligned (as it were) with this development. I look forward to learning more. I don’t know if you are turning off anyone else, but you probably don’t want to do that.

    To whom it may concern:
Upon acquiring about your services at a “Health Fair at Force Protection/General Dynamics, my husband signed up for a $99 dollar “today only” special on 2/9/2012. This offer was stated as a $20 dollars down at his place of business and a $79 dollar balance upon the first office visit for x-rays and initial exam. This offer was verified by three Force Protection/General Dynamics employees, as well as the HR person Latoya Vandike at Force Protection/General Dynamics.

On 2/15/2012, Robert Williams received a consultation from a Dr. Malachowski. This is listed on the invoice as a “new patient exam” which totals the $79 dollars as originally stated at the Health Fair. However, on this day he accumulated an additional sum of $295.00 in x-rays and other prep services from your business which was not disclosed to him. At that time, he understood that this was a part of the $99 dollar special offer that he was promised. This sum was later billed to a credit card without prior approval on 2/17/2012. He also signed up with a GE Care credit for “35 visits bundle” on this day, which was in the total of $2,795.00. At this time he was approved for an account with GE capital Retail Bank and this total was processed that evening before leaving your facility. Upon speaking to me the SAME evening, he called and cancelled the very next day with your office and cancelled the credit contract with GE Capital Retail Bank in Orlando Florida on 2/17/2012. Under the consumer rights act, he has three business days to change his mind on a purchase. When he changed his mind the prior day, you stated that he must pay a $400 dollar service fee to cancel his contract with the credit service. You stated that this was what the credit service charged you. Upon speaking to them on the phone, they did NOT charge a fee and were unaware of this service. This must be a charge that your office instilled upon my husband for his cancellation, which you never explained previously. Also, you waited until you received payment from the company and did not cancel this service until 2/24/2012 the following week instead of the day you were notified of the cancellation. He was also charged another $295 dollars for the “one day only $99 day special) as stated when we received the bill on the balance from GE capital Retail Bank which we were totally unaware of. Our total out of pocket expenses according to your office is $794.00 owed for a $99 dollar special. Under the Better Business Bureau procedures such as this is considered an illegal breach of contract and charging on a credit account without prior notification and failure to cancel the contract within three business days upon request of the consumer.
I am sending your office a faxed copy of this letter as well as the credit company GE Capital Bank as requested in order to file a formal grievance against The Kale Specific Chiropractic for a dismissal of these charges of $794.00 which must be placed onto the GE Capital Retail Bank account to settle the accrued charges.
We received the bill form the credit company, stating that even though we cancelled our account with them, you waited until the 2/24/2012 to cancel our request and still charged a total of $794.69 onto the card without permission from the account holder. My husband called and spoke to you about this issue after receiving the bill, with no avail. He was told that these charges were from services you provided as well as a cancellation fee that the credit company charged you. This has proven incorrect information. He was told that you refused to dispute the billing over the phone because other customers would over hear and that he must make a formal appointment. This appointment is scheduled at 3:00 pm on Monday March 25, 2012. After much consideration and your inflexibility and argumentative nature over the phone, we were advised to send this written fax instead of a person to person discussion so this information can be validated.
As of yet, nothing has been resolved, however, I am hopeful that all charges will be dropped. Unfortunately, we are looking at filing a legal grievance with the BBB and seeing dismissal of liability in small claims court if this situation is not rectified. Forced Protection/General Dynamics has been notified and will be speaking to you about cancelling any future Health Fairs. Several employees have stepped up as witnesses to your $99 dollars special offer. Also, one employee was released from his contract upon changing his mind about services and was not penalized with these fees charged to his account, due to financial hardship. We are also experiencing this.
Poor word of mouth is what a business tries to avoid. I am sure you will agree that Robert has paid what was originally stated-$99 dollars for preliminary x-rays. He cancelled the services for the “35 visits” on the account ,the very next morning at 9:00 am with the credit service. Your office failed to follow thru and did not cancel until a week later and added more charges to his account without authorization. You then charged a $400 dollar service charge that the credit company knows nothing about. He should be dismissed from the rest of the charges. This was a very poor example of a business transaction. Not only was it unclear in its advertising, it was also not corrected promptly when the consumer changed his mind the next business day. Robert Williams will not meet with you as planned on Monday the 26th in person, as I am sending this letter in response of that..I feel confident that you can resolve this issue for us, and dismiss it as a misunderstanding. You can call me if you would like to set up a legal appointment to discuss this issue further at (843) 870-7788. We have also inquired with the city of Summerville and it IS NOT illegal to peacefully hold signs in front of any place of business. It is covered under the freedom of speech act.
Thank you for your time and quick resolution in this issue.
