Your home wouldn’t be the same without family Netflix movie nights in your living room, or family dinners shared over your dining room table. Those activities are powered by electricity, which is controlled and distributed by your fuse box.

But what if I told you that your BODY has a fuse box?

Similar to your home, your body is comprised of many systems working together in unison, powered by a fuse box. That fuse box is located at the base of your skull and upper neck. This is a very precious area, so it is protected by the top two bones in your neck; just as the fuse box in your home is protected by a metal casing.

You must be wondering what this precious area is!

Your body’s fuse box = your brain stem.

Your brain stem (your fuse box) is responsible for relaying neurological information from your brain to your body. This information controls and powers the entire function of your body. Much like how your house’s fuse box provides power throughout your home via a system of electrical wiring, your brain stem provides power throughout your body via a system of nerve wiring, called the nervous system. Essentially, the nervous system communicates from the brain to the body, controlling all bodily functions. Functions that keep you alive and well.

As you can see, your brain stem and nervous system are crucial to the overall function of your body, which ultimately determines your health. You definitely notice when the power in one area, or all of your home, is out, but what if the power in one area of your body was out?

The best way to make sure your fuse box is working properly is to get your nervous system checked. If you have not already done so, I’m sure you’re wondering how you can be checked too.

Luckily for you, our offices specialize in checking the function of your nervous system. If you’ve never checked your nervous system before, or feel that you are suffering from ailments due to an unhealthy nervous system (since you’ve tried everything and nothing is working), here’s what you need to do:

  1. Make a commitment to yourself and your health to get your nervous system checked.
  2. Find a Specific Chiropractic Center near you. We have multiple locations throughout the country to suit your travel needs.
  3. Connect with your Specific Chiropractic Center doctor, and set up an appointment to get your fuse box checked.
